The Ultimate Culinary Experience in Valletta - Full Day
Explore Malta's Capital City Valletta through a journey of taste and flavour combining the past and the present. Indulge yourself in a local experience, walking along the streets of Valletta the Maltese way. Leading the tour will be our local licensed culinary guide who is Maltese but lived in the UK with her husband for many years. We'll meet with him later in the tour given he is our Chef.
We'll visit generational food stores for their renowned products off the beaten track that our guide has specifically handpicked to be part of this tour. Valletta is more than an open-air museum, it's also a renowned gastronomy hub. A quick stop for Tea and Pastizzi is a must!
Along the tour, we will gather some of the material needed for our culinary journey. Our guide will fill us in with all the stories and historical events that made Valletta what it is today, a UNESCO capital city. Heading to a historical building in Valletta, we will meet the chef and enjoy a welcome drink before engaging in the hands-on cooking class. In this part of the experience, each guest will prepare and cook a traditional dish chosen by our chef. While it's cooking, you will enjoy a selection of Maltese meze complemented with local wine and minerals. Finishing our main course, we will conclude with traditional sweet treats and homemade liquor.
